20TH JULY 2024

The Ceremony

Due to the town hall having strict rules on capacity, there is a set limit of people allowed in the ceremony room.

But fear not, we have a solution! We've made this possible by splitting the ceremony across two venues. This means everybody coming to the day will be able to watch the ceremony!

One venue will be live in person, the other will have a live stream with drinks.

Our Evening Guests:
For those of you who will be joining us for the evening only, please fill out an RSVP form as normal - and we'll see you at Fabrica at 7:30pm!

11am to 11:30am

We’re asking all guests to meet at Brighton’s best restaurant – The Witchez – from 11am to 11:30am – please don't be late as this is where you'll find out which ceremony group you'll be in, either the Formal Room or the Fantasy Room.

On your arrival, you will be greeted with a glass of fizz, meet the amazing bearded drag queen Ruffles and our wonderful ushers who will take care of you. You'll then be able to collect your wrist band that you will need for the Wedding Party (remember: you're a VIP, so you'll need your wristband to get in!)

Make sure you have a decent breakfast in the morning, as while we'll be serving nibbles, the main buffet doesn't start until 4pm - we don't want you to peak too early!

If you want to familiarise yourself with the ushers (and everyone else that is involved with the day) you can find them on the "People" page.

Once you know which group you're in, see below for what happens next.

12pm to 1pm

Once you have been greeted at the Witchez, picked up your VIP wrist band and know which group you're in, the ceremony will then start at 12pm.

Anyone in the Formal Group will follow the ushers to the town hall between 11:30 -11:45 - but don't worry, it's only a two minute walk from the Witchez.

Once the ceremony is complete, everyone will then all head back to the Witchez to rejoin our friends and family, though we may be dipping out for photos!

For those in the Fantasy Room, see below!

12pm to 3pm

For those of you who are lucky enough to be in the Fantasy Room, you don't need to go anywhere! Grab your drink, get comfortable and wait for the show to start!

Once the wedding at the Town Hall is complete, we will all come back to the Witchez and join you in person (where you can throw the bio-degradable confetti that we've supplied!)

After the ceremony, Ruffles will be putting on a show for everyone, while Steven and Richard dip in and out for photos.

3pm to 1am

By this time you should all be hungry and ready for a sit down!

At 3pm, we will all start heading over to Fabrica for the rest of the day. Here you'll be met with fizz and delicious canapes, and find out where you'll be sitting for the hot buffet.

Once the main course is out of the way, we have a little game for everyone to play to get to know each other - with the winning table getting a prize!

Then it's onto desserts - we can't wait for you to see the desserts table!

Our evening guests will arrive at 7:30pm

Live music performed by Woody Wasey starts - you can find out more about him on the "People" page.

At around 9:30 we will have the first dance,

Cut our wedding cake shortly after 9:30, serve the evening buffet and open up the cup cake stand.

We have DJ Claire Fuller playing until 1am.

Wedding Gifts

It should be said, that just having you at our wedding is the best gift that either of us could ask for, and that we truly do not need anything from anyone to celebrate our wedding. However, if you would like to gift us anything, you’re more than welcome to make a donation to our Honeymoon fund, where we plan to travel to Thailand for ten days and make lots of wonderful memories.

You can make a donation by bank transfer to our Honeymoon fund:

Taking photos at our wedding?

We want our wedding to be a celebration, so we would love to see all your photos! To help with this, there is a dedicated website that will start working two days before the wedding, where you can share your photos to during and after the wedding.

How does it work

You can take your photos as normal, and when you want to, you can upload your photos through to the website

1. Take your photos as normal
2. Scan the QR code on your table (or use the one below) with your phone to access the website
3. Pick the photos you want to share in the website that opens

(Also if you need IT support on the day, you know you can always ask Steven!)
